2020 was the year this iconic Northern Beaches Hotel changed hands after 40 years. It was time to breathe new life into this grand old 1928 built treasure.

Alexander & Co where tasked with the job of creating something unique and ultra stylistic, whilst still keeping the laid back beachside feel that the local community have always loved. We feel they succeeded.

Constructive Building Projects took on the monumental task of completing this full overhaul in just six months, start to finish! Only a few small sections of walls were left.

A great deal of experience and care needed to be taken to ensure this heritage listed “Grand old Pub” was left in better condition than before we started. This project required a huge amount of communication and coordination with a vast array of trades. Not only were we working at incredible speed, we also were hyper-focused on ensuring the finished product was to a very high standard. We wanted an attention to detail that people would normally expect from a high end residential setting.

After all, the owners wanted the harbord hotel to feel like a new home for their patrons.
